this world's not so bad after all.
After reading this NYT article, I started think that maybe my friend Sanch was right about how much a society can change in one generation. Sometimes my cynical side devours all of my optimism and I guess all it takes is a mere two page article to restore my hope in humans. That is why I love journalism

But check today, nov 19, 2009. the nyt did an article about gay rights or lack there of i should say, in the philipines. literally they will not hire gay teachers and make the students sign contracts saying they are not or will not be gay.... and to think I was sadly taken aback when california shut down gay marriage.
